12 Surefire Ways to Pull in More Orders Now

Lets face it you're in business to make money.  This means you have a product or service that somebody needs or wants.  It also means you've got to make sales to stay in business.

Yes you've got to sell something to someone.   If nobody buys anything from you how are you going to stay in business?

Don't let the sales word throw you off.  It's really not that bad.  And it's not that difficult.

The way to make more money in your business is to pull in more orders.  There are many ways to do this.

In this article I'll cover twelve surefire ways to increase your orders.  These techniques are tried and proven.

How you adapt them to your particular business is up to you.  Just know that they're flexible and they work.

Okay here they are:

1.            Use a Free offer such as an ebook or report on a subject of interest to your reader.  Include your ad,  business offer, or web link so people who are interested in your content can find out more by contacting you.

2.          If you don't already have a newsletter, consider publishing one.  You can easily put up a short content rich ezine or newsletter on your website.  This gives you credibility and keeps you in touch with your customers.  Your ezine should contain useful content for the reader.  Remember it's not a sales letter.  

3.            Publish your ezine in text and HTML formats..  It gives your customers a choice.  You could include advertising in one version or both..  Let your readers decide which one they prefer.  Provide surveys so they can tell you what they want to see. 

4.            Include a classified add section where readers can read free ads.  Allow them to submit their ads free as well.  You help them, they help you.  You'll attract viewers who read just for the ads.

5.            Consider setting up some type of members area.  This can be free to start.  You could also provide a paid version.  People like to belong and offering them a free membership will keep them coming back.  Make sure to provide good content and free offers (ebooks, reports, articles etc.).  Keep 'em coming back for more.

6.            Offering your visitors give-aways or free bonuses can increase your site traffic.  Repeat visits increase your chances of making more sales.  For example you could offer more bonuses after they purchase your product.  Site visitors will return to see what bonuses you're offering each week or month.

7.            Provide free download links on your site or in your ezine.  You could offer software downloads or even other people's ebooks or reports.  Give them the option of reading your material online or downloading it so they can keep a copy handy to read on their own time.  Remember to get their contact information.  And don't be afraid to ask for referrals here.  You're giving them valuable content for free.  They won't mind returning the favor.

8.            Create an afiliate program for your business.  It can be free to join.  Offer your affiliates  a percentage of the sales amount or a free product in exchange for referring sales to you.  Your affiliates are like your sales force.  Only you don't pay till the sale is made.  The more affiliates you sign up the more chances you have to make more sales.  It's a win win situation.  

9.            Consider selling paid ads in your product.  Charge per ad insertion in the case of your ezine.  You could charge a flat rate for an ad in your ebook, e -course or teleseminar.  Sell digital ads, brochures or flyers.  You could also come up with print versions.

10.         Develop teleseminars to promote your product or service.  You can offer the seminar free and mention the benefits of  using your product during the call.. At the end of the call you could make them a special offer for your product.   It's a great way to get personal with your customers and prospects.

11.         Contact other business owners and offer to joint venture with them.  Even your competitors can help you profit on this one.  Let them join your affiliate program and earn commissions on sales of your product or service.  Talk to other ezine publishers about swapping ads in your ezine for each other's products.  You could post links in your ezine or ebook.  Every time a sale is made you'll both profit.

12.         Don't be afraid to use direct mail.  This is a powerful strategy often overlooked by many businesses.  With direct response advertising your results are easily measured.  You can track your ad dollars very efficiently compared to other advertising methods.
